Villa Lona is situated in a calm and slightly elevated area and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the sea and the surroundings. Overlooking olive groves and vineyards you can even see the tip of Gallipoli. There are neighbours only below the house; to the back the villa is adjacent to a nature reserve with subtropical vegetation, the Mediterranean scrub. The sandy beaches and dunes are only 3 km away, the nearest towns are San Pietro in Bevagna (3 km) and Maruggio (6 km).
The light-flooded, modern villa has isolated walls and is therefore well suited for all seasons. In summer the air condition cools down the villa pleasantly, in winter the cosy and powerful pellet stove gets the heat up. From the paved terrace around the house, offering plenty of shadowy space for eating and relaxing, a stair case is leading up to the big roof top terrace, from where you have a splendid 180 degree view.
